Park Information
This is a community park consisting of 45 acres located right on the Gulf of Mexico. There is a 650′ boardwalk that takes you through the mangroves and wetland property to the north side of the park and has a small two-deck observation tower where you can spot dolphins, sea cranes and other birds migrating around the area and is very peaceful and calming.
There are several picnic tables and charcoal grills for the public to use. Bring the entire family and have a small picnic on the beach or host a birthday party outdoors. There is a playground with slides, swings, spring toys and even a pirate ship with a slide that children will enjoy.
Boating: There are two small rock-based boat ramps where you can launch a canoe/kayak at no charge.
Swimming: There is a beach area of 920′ and a designated swim area of 185′ and a free-standing shower to rinse off. There are water fountains, a bicycle rack, and benches for the public’s use. Be sure to visit the park before dusk and watch the beautiful sunsets on the beach, it is absolutely breathtaking.

No reservations are necessary for the shelters or pavilion. They are available on a first-come first-served basis. There is a $2.00 parking fee at this facility. You can purchase an annual pass for $60.00 in person or via mail – just fill out the Annual Park Pass application and follow the directions on the form.
